Nano Limestone Powder

Limestone is a versatile and valuable rock that has many benefits for agriculture. It can improve soil quality, enhance plant nutrition, and contribute to fertilizer manufacturing. Limestone is widely available and relatively inexpensive, making it a suitable choice for farmers and gardeners who want to improve their crop production and soil health.

One of the main uses of limestone in agriculture is to adjust the pH of acidic soils. Acidic soils can limit the availability of plant nutrients and reduce crop yields. By spreading agricultural lime, the calcium carbonate content of the limestone can neutralize some of the acid in the soil and increase its alkalinity. This also has the effect of freeing up some of the soil minerals, such as phosphates, and making them more accessible for plant uptake.

Another use of limestone in agriculture is to provide a source of calcium and magnesium for plants. Calcium and magnesium are essential macronutrients for plant growth and development, especially for root formation, cell wall structure, and enzyme activity.

We have manufactured a product based on natural limestone that has extremely fine particles, ranging from sub-micron to nano size. This gives it a huge advantage over conventional agricultural limestone. The larger surface area of the particles lets them release Calcium ions into the soil faster, rapidly raising the pH level in just a few days. The plants can also take up the calcium quicker without overloading the soil. Therefore, only a small amount of our nano limestone is needed to improve the soil condition. Our nano-limestone is pre-dispersed in water to make it easy to apply by wetting system at any stage of crops.
